Bridal Hair Trials
I recommend a wedding hair trial before your wedding day. Ideally, this would be two to four months before your wedding, so we have sufficient time to develop your look, or allow your hair to grow, or even try more styles or ideas. This also allows enough time should you want to book a second trial. You may also prefer a trial just before a dress fitting so you can see how your hairstyle works with your wedding dress.
What to expect from a bridal hair trial.
Trials are a vital part of planning for your big day. It's a great opportunity to explore different looks and vision for how you want to look.
Prior to your trial, I ask you to collect photos or provide me with a mood board of hairstyles, accessories and details you'd love to try and experiment with. This gives me a clear understanding of your taste and style and enables me to suggest ideas to create your final look. Pinterest is great for this and so easy to share.
I recommend that we try a few different styles or versions of your preferred style even if you are set on a final look – after all, that's what trials are for. It provides you with peace of mind going into your wedding day knowing the style you have picked is absolutely right for you.
Accessories and jewellery that you plan to wear are an important part of the trial process. I think these can often enhance your hairstyle and knowing what you want to include in your style also allows us to plan our timing. Giving you a total, overall look will also help you see your look complete - as well as get you excited for the big day.
After the trial, I will take photos of your hairstyle once you have picked your final look to ensure your hair looks beautiful from every angle. Your photographer will no doubt be capturing all sides on the day, so I check that every side, shot and angle looks perfect. This also acts as my reference when I see you on your wedding day.
After your trial, I will go through your wedding day event details and hair schedule, when the best time to wash your hair is before your actual wedding day, as well as go through any queries or additional points we have discussed together.

On Your Wedding Day
Your wedding day is such a special day and one you'll never forget. I have extensive experience in wedding hair and will make sure you and your bridal party look and feel amazing in a calm, unhurried manner.
With a prompt start, I will be with you from the moment I set-up, right up until when you are in your dress and ready to depart for the ceremony. I will assist you with all final touches, setting your veil or placing any hair accessories to make sure you are happy with your final look.
If required, I can even stay the whole day and be on-hand to make sure you look perfect for the entire day or even to create a second look for the evening*.
